Tis the season for peonies. Girly, flirty and pretty, it comes as no surprise that these blooms are one of the top floral choices for brides. However, given that they become so big and fluffy when they bloom, my advice is to keep it simple. Less is more. Don’t overdo it with a huge bouquet and if it’s bigger than your head, toss out a few stems. One or two stems in a small vase or mason jar or even your cake will be enough to brighten anyone’s day. Think of the peonies as a complement, not a feature because we all know that on such a special day as your wedding, all eyes should be on you.
